Patricia Headley has published two successful children’s books – Brooklyn’s Day and The Sunflower Woman. Cotton Candy Trees is her debut novel in the women’s mystery/romance genre. The author grew up in Southern Appalachia which served for the setting of this book. The distinct flavor of Appalachia in the early 1940’s and the people who lived there strongly influenced the portrayals of the characters in Cotton Candy Trees . Both the characters and the settings are vividly drawn and compelling. The author lives in Florida with her husband and family.
